CMA CGM announces upgrade of its Asia-Africa route network




French shipping company CMA CGM has announced that it will revamp routes between Asia and West and South Africa from the first week of December.

CMA CGM’s WAX service will now focus on Nigeria, Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire, while WAX3 service will continue to serve Togo and Nigeria. In addition, the Shaka service will provide transhipment services to Cape Town via Port Louis.

The Marseille-based freight company said it will provide direct services from northern, central and southern China to West Africa's largest markets Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon through the updated service.
